We haven't done a full round-up test of dishwashers; however, there is a lot of innovation out there, like soil sensors to increase or decrease the wash cycle; steam to help remove baked-on soils.  I would recommend a Kenmore, LG, or KitchenAid. 

When purchasing, you must decide which features best fit your lifestyle. Do you have a large family or do a lot of entertaining? Do you have a small family, eat out often or only need to run the dishwasher on occasion?  Also, check the Energy Star Guide Label to see if the dishwasher uses less water, energy, and costs less to operate.
