thanks all. Wish you health It seems not a swine flue. I didn't go to a doctor. It was a cold with depression.

I have all the below as listed on a website except the vomiting and diarrhea. I have shortness of breath but no cough. All symptoms started 4 hours ago, * unusual tiredness, * headache, * runny nose, * sore throat, * shortness of breath or cough, * loss of appetite, * aching muscles, * diarrhoea or vomiting.

I have sour throat, and Gee exactly as Canajun mentioned! I cannot breath. But only light cough. I am scared! to be honest.

Two main symptoms seem to separate the H1N1 from the common cold: A chronic cough and a low to mid-grade fever. You should have both, among other symptoms.

God grief, how dramatic! You probably have a cold....

Keep an eye on it of course though. Do they have a swine flu helpline in your area? If you are diagnosed with it, someone else should go and get your meds for you so you're not infecting everyone else. Seriously though, unless you have a serious medical condition already, you're likely to be fine. Millions of people have had swine flu, and there have been comparatively few deaths. There's a lower chance of dying from swine flu if you get it than there is of dying if you do some DIY. and nobody gets too panicky about bleeding the radiators do they?

Why don't you go to your doctor? If youo've had the symptoms less than 48 hours, he can prescribe Tamiflu. It doesn't cure the flu but will help with the symptoms.

The leaflets they put through the doors over here said if it's swine flu, there will be a fever as well.

Calm down! You're NOT going to die! UNLESS you have a fever and cough, you don't have the flu! Contrary to the popular opinion of a lot of people on here, you don't have to have vomiting and diarrhea to have the flu either. Unless your immunocompromised and in a high risk group, there is no need to go to the ER. And you don't need antibiotics unless you have a secondary infection. If you can't breathe (as in "not getting enough air"), then you need to go to the ER, but if you "can't breathe" due to congestion in your nose, that's another story.
