Join the Peace Corps for 2 years if this is where you are at in your life. See something of the world without needing to carry firearms and shoot at people. Volunteering in this manner sometimes sets you on a new course.

1) I do believe the Peacecorp is only available in the US.
2) You might look into whatever college is nearby and try
another and very different course
3) You might try going to another location and do something
very different from what you're doing now

I think that this is a question we all ask ourselves. And it drives me absoltely mad at times. The only thing that gives me solace is to give it up to the grand scheme of things; that I am where I am SUPPOSED to be at this time in my life. And if I don't like it, I need to take steps to change it.
