Why do people do stuff like this?So I reconnected with someone I had a school girl crush on many years ago on Facebook. We have been emailing back and forth....and then he includes his phone number....but never suggests I call him...in fact he says to write him back and answer some of his questions.

Why do women overthink things? If the guy gave you his number, he's basically telling you that if you want to call him, that's fine. If not, then no problem. It's an additional contact method, if you want to talk to him, rather than just type.

He wouldn't have given you his phone number if he wanted you NOT to call him. Why don't you just ask, "When is a good time to call? I'd love to talk and catch up."

I wouldn't call him either. It would have been different had he asked for your number. Beaside, it's easier to get away on a computer than on a phone. lol

My honest 1st thought: He's married to someone who has a jealous streak and would not know how to explain you coming into his life now.

It's kind of implied when someone give you their number that you can call. I don't think the communication was unclear at all....call, or continue to write him back whichever is more comfortable for you.
