I came downstairs to find Mrs. Mamu sitting at the kitchen table, staring blankly at a half-empty cup of coffee....the kids squabbling loudly in the other room.

"What's wrong, Honey?" I asked.

She said, "I've got morning sickness."

I braced myself against the refrigerator and said, "Oh my god, you're pregnant?"

"No I'm not," she replied, "I'm just damn sick of mornings!"
